We started in 1995 inside Sami’s Party Store, with a single shawarma spit and a big dream. From that small corner, we built something special—rooted in our culture and our passion for real Mediterranean food. In 1999, we opened our first full restaurant just across the street, ready to serve our growing Eastown community.
Built on Tradition and Teamwork
Our menu was inspired by the dishes we grew up with—recipes passed down through generations, full of flavor and heart. Every gyro, falafel, and plate of shawarma reflects the traditions we carry and the pride we take in every step, from prep to plate.
Growing with Grand Rapids
In 2000, we expanded with a second location at 3730 28th Street SE. In 2015, we moved our original shop to 1508 Wealthy Street SE. While our spaces have changed, our values haven’t. We remain committed to cooking with integrity and treating every guest like family.
